The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index was down 6.82 points or 0.40% to close at 1,714.55 points today. Total trading value was 68.07 billion baht with 11.80 billion shares changing hands. The SET50 index ended at 1,089.13 points, down 5.61 points or 0.51%, in trade worth 36.67 billion baht. The MAI index went down 2.94 points or 0.51% to close at 572.01 points with total transaction value of 3.77 billion baht. Local institutions, brokers and foreign investors were net sellers of 675 million baht, 637 million baht and 1.05 billion baht respectively.
